Sara Rudin has been twirling since the age of 6. She was Captain of the University of Arizona Twirling Line in 2006/2007.

Sara runs the Honeybees and Yellow Jackets Baton Twirling group in Round Rock, Texas.She and her husband, Mark, have 3 kids and a dog. They have lived in Texas since 2015.
Sara and Mary Ann began their twirling journey in Omaha, Nebraska. They competed with the National Championship-Winning Sue's Stepperettes until their family moved to San Antonio, Texas where they joined the Texas Gems under the direction of Margaret Mann.

Sara and Mary Ann both twirled at the University of Arizona with the Pride of Arizona. After many years, life took both sisters back to Texas. Although they both live in different cities, they constantly work together to further improve the technology and communications of Baton Twirling.
After copying her sister practicing in the driveway, Mary Ann started twirling at the age of 5. She attended the University of Arizona where she twirled for four years for the Pride of Arizona Marching Band.

In Arizona, she was a three-time local titleholder in the Miss Arizona Scholarship Pageant and performed in three nationally televised bowl games in Las Vegas, San Diego, and San Antonio.
Now that she is back in San Antonio, she spends her day teaching high school students and is the UTSA Coach for the feature twirlers and twirling line with the Spirit of San Antonio marching band. She loves spending time with her husband, Craig, and rescue puppy, Chorizo.
